Emma was sold to Ellen
M. Gruber as an obedience dog at 5 months of age. Her sire is Am/Can CH. Pinepath’s Night Watch and her dam Can CH.
CinnRhee’s Cabaret. Emma was one of three girls in Liza’s last litter.
She was a very outgoing puppy and Ellen was quite impressed that Emma automatically
fetched and retrieved a piece of tin foil rolled into a ball. Emma went home
to Indiana with Ellen and they both have done remarkable work not only in the
obedience ring but they are top notch at agility also.
Emma is a remarkable example
of conformation, agility and obedience all rolled up into one super little gal.
She loves to work with Ellen
and
her credits show just how good she is.
I am proud of both of them and have had
my eyes opened as to what the Boxer can do as a companion and working dog.
Thanks Ellen and Emma for all the joy you have given
Margaret and me through your great work. Ellen and Emma and the Gruber family
now reside in Niles, Michigan.
Emma is picture here on the right showing off her well deserved
awards.
Ellen and Emma competed together
for many years earning numerous titles and giving their fans a great time watching
them throughout their career. Emma earned the "Top Performance Dog
Award" for
the year '2000' given out by the American Boxer Club. Emma left us at the age
of 7 and her cause of death was a brain tumour. Our deepest sympathies go out
to the Gruber family.
