Annie was acquired by CinnRhee Boxers Reg'd from her
owner, Gerry Kaiser, who at the time was residing in New Brunswick and did not
feel he could keep Annie any longer. She was only 18 months old when she was
flown to us.
Annie is a full sister to Can/Am CH. Greenhaven’s Ebony at Pinepath, who
was bred by Nancy Strange of Greenhaven Kennels and was owned by Jack and Cathryn
Ireland of Pinepath Kennels. Ebony was a great showgirl and Jack campaigned her
to the #1 position in Canada two years running. She was also the dam of his greatest
homebred champion, Can/Am CH. Pinepath’s Night Watch, Can. & Am. Sire
Of Merit.
Annie was bred to Am/Can CH. CinnRhee’s Mug Shot and produced a litter
of 7 puppies: 6 girls and 1 boy. From this litter there were 3 champions; Can/Am
CH. CinnRhee’s Baby Doll, who was sold to Cloveland Kennels in Ohio, Can
CH. CinnRhee’s Cabaret and Can. CH. CinnRhee’s Grenadier. Two of
the other females in this litter were sold to show homes but unfortunately did
not reach adulthood due to tragic deaths.
Annie in her later years was the matriarch of CinnRhee Boxers Reg'd and all who
came across her path did so with respect and admiration. Annie crossed the Rainbow
Bridge in November of 2001 just three months shy of her 15th birthday. She had
never had a sick day in her life but developed a malignant tumor that grew very
quickly despite her age. She was the oldest Boxer at the kennel coming from a
line of Boxers that have lived to ripe old ages.
We want to thank Nancy Strange, Annie’s breeder, for producing this ‘GREAT
OLD GAL’ who has brought countless joyful moments into our lives. Until
we meet again Annie.
