Sire:
Am/Can CH Josha's Linebacker LOM
Dam: CH. Syrr Run’s Gold Card DOM
- Am/Can.CH. Syrr Run’s On Line Heart Acres sired by Am/Can. CH. Josha’s Linebacker C.D. His dam was CH. Syrr Run’s Gold Card.
Slick came to CinnRhee Kennels in January of 2000 and was specialed here in Ontario. He was a young dog with a very strong pedigree and was the result of tight line breeding. He was bred and co-owned by Larry and Beckie Horne of Syrr Run Kennels in South Carolina and was owned by Dr. James and Priscilla Kilman of Grove City, Ohio.
Slick was a very sound dog with great Boxer characteristics. He made his presence felt in Ontario by taking the breed many times over some top winning specials and won The Western Ontario Boxer Club Specialty in July 2000 under judge Mr. Tom Peret. During a three day visit back to his owners, Dr. James and Priscilla Kilman over the Easter weekend, Slick was entered in the Miami Valley Boxer Club Specialty and he was Best of Breed at the Specialty and took the breed the next two days, also placing third in the group.
An update to his show accolades was a Best In Show at Muskoka, Ontario under prestigious judge, Mr. Morley Thornton. We had much fun showing this outgoing, very true to standard young male and as his puppies began to enter the show ring, we realized what a dominant producer he was going to be.
At the present time, Slick has seven American Champions:- Am/Can CH. Schmidt’s Midnight At Heart Acres
- Am./Can. CH. Heart Acre N Fulco Heart’s Desire
- Am CH. Heart Acre N Fulco Heart’s Delight
- Am CH. Fulco’s Midnight Lace of Schmidt
- Am/Can. CH. White Pine One and Only
- Am CH. White Pine Front Paige
- Am CH Pinebrooks's Monogram
- Am CH. White Pine's First Edition
Slick has several youngsters nearing their titles. He is a Sire Of Merit in the United States. He received his Sire Of Merit status here in Canada in 2004 and has many Canadian Champions.
Unfortunately, Slick left us May 29th, 2004 at the age of six and a half. He suffered from an arrhythmia and quietly died in my arms. I miss him a great deal but both Marg and I, the Kilmans and the Horne’s know how fortunate we were to have such an outstanding Boxer. His contribution to the breed will continue to live on in his offspring.
Goodnight my ‘Peck’s Bad Boy’. Until we meet again ‘ Dancing Dick’.
