Am/Can CH. White Pine One and Only is so aptly named. He is the only son of a breeding between Am/Can CH. Syrr Run's On Line Heart Acres and Am. CH. White Pine’s Brooke. Fondly called Ray, he caught everyone’s attention by finishing his American Championship with 5 major wins, four of which were Specialty wins and the last three being back to back. WHAT A DOG!!!
Ray has a wonderful story to tell. Bob and Marion Juliana purchased him from Bob and Linda Gasper of White Pine Boxers. This was Bob and Linda’s first litter of Boxers and they hit gold. Being new to the dog show game Linda and Bob sold Ray as a pet to the Julianas but when we first saw Ray we convinced the Julianas that they had something very special and they allowed us to give him a whirl at showing.
Ray’s first show was the Boxer Club of Ohio and at the young age of nine months he commanded the attention of judge Mr. Hal Bierman for his first major going WD and BOW. We were off and running.
The Julianas agreed to send Ray up to Canada for further training and a shot at his Canadian title, which he accomplished, in fine style. He finished very quickly culminating his wins with WD, BOW and BP at the Boxer Club of Western Ontario Specialty under U.K. Judge, Mr. David Webb. It was then back to the States.
Ray picked up his next major under Mr. Ed. Bivin at the Christmas Classic in Cleveland during December of 2003. His next show was in February of 2004 at the Central Indiana Boxer Club Specialty, where he was WD at both shows for his third and fourth majors under Boxer breeder judges Mr. John Connolly and Mr. Don Teague. With four majors and 14 points we were on to the Combined Specialties of Kentucky and on the first day at the Blue Grass Boxer Club Specialty, under judge Mr. Clay Coady, Ray finished with a 5 point major. These last three majors were back to back and what a great thrill we all had watching Ray as he commanded the ring in fine style.
Ray was never purchased as a show dog but he has certainly become one and I want to thank the Julianas for allowing me to handle Ray to both of his Championships. I have never had my hands on such an animal and not only is he a stallion of the breed, his temperament is that of a gentle giant with focus to be envious of.
Ray will be specialed sparingly and is being used at stud occasionally.
Ray would also like to congratulate his sister Am CH. White Pine Front Paige who finished her championship in July at the Medina shows. His two other sisters from the same litter are closing in quickly on their championships.
