River was bred and whelped by Pat Sayers of Capecod Boxers.  His sire and dam are Can CH. Kadenza’s River Boat Gambler and Can CH. CinnRhee Heart Acre Breeznalong.   Breeze was sold to Pat as her foundation bitch when Pat, after several years away from the breed, decided to begin again.  We were very excited about this litter of three since the pedigree was so strong and both parents represented some excellent characteristics to begin again.  The puppies arrived November 20^th, 2008 and what a surprise we had when two of them were fawn.  CinnRhee Boxers is a dominant brindle kennel and we have only produced two fawn puppies in the last 13 years. 

At eight weeks River came home to grow up and be schooled here at CinnRhee Boxers.  He is co-owned by Medley and Margaret and Jim and Priscilla Kilman of Heart Acre Boxers.  He is a handsome flashy, red fawn with lots of bone and a beautiful head.  As he continues to grow he shows much potential as a prospective show dog.   His first show at 6 months of age was the Boxer Club Of Canada National and this young puppy caught the eye of respected breeder judge David Abraham of Trefoil Boxers and was awarded RWD.  At the Sarnia Kennel Club, River picked up 3 points under judge Sandra Lex and at the Oxford County Kennel Club Show, River garnered his next win of 5 points under judge Dr. Robert Indeglia and so we were off and running. We entered River in both Specialties up north and at the Northern Ontario Boxer Club Specialty, he won the Sweeps under respected all breed and Boxer handler, Scott McNair and breeder judge Judy Jury gave River Best Puppy in Specialty.  The second specialty, The Boxer Club Of Canada Regional was judged by Dane breeder Donna Conad and River was awarded WD, BW and BP which finished River and made him a Canadian Champion at the young age of 8 months.  

We feel River is of high quality and we will begin to show him toward his American Championship this fall.
